Emotional Intelligence Assessments
Bob MacArthur is certified to administer and interpret the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 assessments. Talk with Bob about using the EQ-i 2.0 for improving effectiveness with interpersonal relationships, team building, decision-making and stress management.
The EQ 360 is an effective instrument for use in 360 performance reviews. It captures feedback from participating groups and compares respondents' perceptions. The report leads to the creation of developmental plans to build on strengths and address areas of growth.
Emotional Intelligence(EI) is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how well we:
perceive and express ourselves
develop and maintain social relationships
cope with challenges and
use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way.
The Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0
The EQ-i 2.0 is the latest version of Reuven Bar-On's premier assessment for measuring Emotional Intelligence. It focuses on five areas: Self-perception, Self-expression, Interpersonal relationships, Decision making and Stress Management.
The assessment has been tested and proven for validity (measures what it is supposed to) and reliability (consistent in achieving the same results). It is also normativefor age and gender as well as the general population.
EI and Performance
Research has shown that there are positive links between EI and performance. EI is a factor in separating high performers from low performers across industries.
EQ-i 2.0 and Coaching
The instrument takes 20-30 minutes to complete on line. It generates a 20 page report that provides a rich foundation for clients to improve their effectiveness in relationships, teamwork, problem-solving and stress management.
Use in 360 Performance Reviews
The EQ 360 is a compelling instrument for use in administering 360 performance reviews, creating personal development plans and coaching leaders to new levels of effectiveness.
